Your rights being a patient in the EU

Holiday season is one of the best times of a year. Unfortunately, it can happen that you get injured or become ill while being on holidays. The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) will help in case of an Emergency Treatment. However, it is also useful to have a travel insurance that covers additional costs, e. g. the transport back home. If you are planning an intended treatment in Germany, there are a other things to consider.
